Giving It A Voice Non Profit was created to be a resource, safe space, and platform for those that are broken, struggling with trauma, lost, rejected and feel hopeless. It is our desire to create space,

provide resources and opportunities for people to identify barriers and “blind spots”, begin to heal, discover their value and gifts, learn how to use their voice, in order to not only live transformed lives, but reach back and help others.
This summer Giving It A Voice launched the “Who Am I Project” which is an investment in our inner-city youth ages 8-17 with a graduation celebration and an opportunity to earn a stipend upon completion. We are focusing on violence prevention by empowering strong leaders for our communities, creating space and tools for them to discover who they are, their gifts and how they can use them now and in the future; understanding that they are already leaders and the impact of their choices; character building; learn what community is and why they are valuable to the community, which creates awareness and connectedness; provide consistent mentorship. We are implementing a stronger family component and inclusion to our programming as family structures need to be restored and supportive of change.
Giving It A Voice desires increased partnerships within the community because we are stronger and have more impact together.

I am Alexia Rowe. I was born in Atlanta, GA, but have spent time in numerous states within the U.S. which I am grateful for. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters who I did not grow up with but always kept in close contact with. I was raised by my uncle and great cousin who always led the way and told me about the importance of education. Growing up alone, I fell in love with art. It was my therapy and something I held near and dear to my heart. As time progressed, I moved from Atlanta to Minnesota where I started working in early childhood education. I fell in love instantly. The encounters I had with the kids and the happiness on their faces made me feel better than any job I have ever had. I started transferring my paper art into digital form to make my students individual gifts with their favorite tv characters, animals, etc. I was overwhelmed by the feedback and the response from the kids to know that someone paid attention to what they enjoyed most outside of the classroom. That inspired me to start my own business, “The Creative Rowe”, creating art for the little ones and making personalized gifts. As this journey starts in Minnesota, I can only hope to grow from here. I plan to open my printing room and make personal and professional products for others. More than anything I would love to expand and teach others on how to do such crafts. I want to encourage others that the best start is simply just to start.

She shot mostly senior portraits and college events during this time. After graduating with a degree in Communications, she got her LLC and officially became a lifestyle and branding photography company servicing mostly BIPOC individuals and businesses in the Twin Cities.

Dabre, LLC started with a vision to provide a quality Ginger Juice Drink with flavors that are unmatchable. We are based in Minneapolis, MN, family owned and operated. With a recipe made at home in the kitchen by our mother. She created Ginger Juice using all-natural ingredients. It had an amazing taste that everyone could enjoy from toddlers to the elderly. Leaving everyone with a refreshing smile. Ginger Juice would be prepared last for family gatherings, but the first item devoured. With its crisp and refreshing taste, we wanted to share it with the world.
