Biking with Baddies and Betts on You would like to invite you to join an introductory swimming education workshop designed for families to build confidence in water and learn life saving safety practices. Families will learn essential water safety knowledge and swimming skills in a safe, supportive, and hands-on environment.
The Family Water Safety Workshop is a specialized 4-hour course designed to meet the unique swimming education and safety needs of families. This workshop begins with a reflective discussion where families articulate their “swim beliefs” and set personal objectives with the guidance of an experienced aquatic instructor. The group then transitions to a practical, in-water experience, featuring skill-building activities, realistic scenarios to enhance water safety knowledge and skills, as well as family-oriented games and challenges. Adults are expected to participate alongside their children during the workshops. Please come prepared for both on-land and in-water learning and for everyone to enter the water.
