Can you believe it is May already? We are almost halfway through the year. Time is flying by and we have enjoyed the start of 2022 by being welcomed back to Children’s Theatre, Guthrie, and we took our first family vacation as well as attended our first concert since the pandemic began.
As the summer approaches, we are getting ready to host some fun events as well as get back to exploring MN with day trips as we have done in the past. Our most recent reviews – Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Wow! This was not what we were expecting. It was Marvel after dark. Although this was about Doctor Strange the movie seemed to center around Wanda/Scarlett Witch. If you have followed her character you know she is not one to be taken lightly. While watching the movie you’ll witness witchcraft, a few demons, and even a quick appearance from “Illuminati” which may have just been a way to bring back some notable characters.
What might have been missing from the story was made up in action. There were numerous fighting scenes throughout the 2 hours and 6 minutes. The best is the musical fight. If you are looking for a light film to laugh this isn’t it.
Our advice is to make sure you are caught up on Avengers Infinity War, End Game, and Wanda Vision before watching this. Parents this move is for us and older teens. Do not take your small kids. They are likely to be terrified.
This is a movie that we will need to watch again because several small details didn’t add up until you thought about them later or had a conversation with others. One thing is for sure with the multiverse Marvel will have the option to keep introducing new characters and reintroducing old ones. We will see just how far they take it.

Your ticket price includes admittance to the yacht for a 2.5-hour ride on Lake Minnetonka, music, games, lunch, and soda/coffee.

The theme this year is graphic tees! Wear your best graphic tee and you may win a prize. It is not required but is encouraged.
The yacht will leave promptly so please arrive no later than 1:10 for boarding and check-in.
