In the heart of George Floyd Square you can find Smoke in the Pit, a Black owned BBQ restaurant that has been around since 1998.
This has been one of my go to places for several years because you the smoked wings and fried spaghetti are consistently good. The best smoked wings in town!
Honorable mention to the Alexander Smokedburger
This is the perfect food for the football season. They can handle small orders and they also do catering.
You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself.
